kilo Translations is an initiative by artist Isabel Marcos and writer Niels Bekkema that publishes translations of critical essays, poetry, and literature between Dutch, English, and Spanish. At Sunday Morning With, kilo and some of the authors they have published will read out a selection of their translations. Following the readings, there will be an opportunity for a dialogue about multilingual living and how both the shared aspects and the radical differences between languages contribute to bringing together communities.

SUNDAY MORNINGS WITH... is an event-based project that aims to tease out hidden connections, quiet conversations, and influences ordinarily kept private. Far from articulating artworks through just the verbal, the program aims to create an environment where bodies, materials, ideas, and conversations come together, as a place to seed new ideas for both artistic practices and the community that surround Shimmer.
